Another Successful Adopt-a-Drain Day
Thanks to everyone who helped clean storm drains with the Green Team! We estimate that we collected 200+ pounds of debris that would have otherwise gone down the drains and contaminated our waterways. Read more

Adopt-a-Drain Event and Drain Naming Contest
Our next drain cleaning event is happening on May 17th. We’ll meet at City Hall at 9:00 AM and disperse to clean drains in nearby neighborhoods for up to 1-2 hours. Groups and kids are welcome. Waste Free Waffle Breakfast
The Vadnais Heights Green Team partnered with the Lions Club for their Waffle Breakfast on the 6th to help make the event waste-free. The Lions used composting plates, utensils, and napkins, and the placemats and milk cartons were recyclable. Adopt-a-Drain event and contest voting
We’re proud to say that volunteers at our Adopt-a-Drain event on Saturday, October 26th, cleaned 181 storm drains around Vadnais Heights. Green Team and Volunteers Clean 130 Storm Drains
On May 18th the Green Team hosted another successful storm drain cleaning event! Volunteers cleaned 130 drains and collected about 150 lbs of organic waste that was headed for our waterways.
